background

I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and have trained extensively in both private practice and community mental health settings. I practice using psychoanalytic, depth psychology, existential, and IFS treatment modalities that address the whole well-being of the patient, including internal emotional life and thought processes, mind-body connection, relationships with others, and the social/structural/institutional environment in which we’re immersed. I’m deeply curious, love to engage with existential questions, and value the work my patients embark upon with me. My approach is subtly influenced by Vipassana meditation and Buddhism. In addition to psychotherapy, I’ve supervised pre-doctoral and post-doctoral trainees in both community mental health and private practice settings.
