who comes to see me
The people who work with me face a range of challenges, including relationship troubles, traumatic experiences, life transitions, questions about gender or sexuality, experiences of power and oppression, identity concerns, grief/loss, addiction, and physical ailments. Some are concerned about depression or anxiety. Others about why they find themselves in the same painful patterns again and again despite their efforts at changing. Some want to explore what it might be like to find more flexibility in their relationships with others.
Reflecting the diversity of the bay area, my patients come from many walks of life, and I welcome each of them to express their perspectives in therapy. I have particular experience with immigrants and first generation Americans, LGBTQQ clients, pregnancy and parenthood, individuals who are pursuing a spiritual practice, and tech and creative professionals.
